Locus Amoenus

Pictures from an Easter saturday visit at Benrath Palace near Düsseldorf. Highlights were a guided tour through the 250 year old manor house, coffee and cakes in the awesome cafe, a visit to the European Garden Art museum, and a walk through the park down to the Rhine. The weather was mixed but mostly cooperative, and we had a great time.

    Schöne Fotos aus meiner Heimat! Die ganzen Fünfziger- und ein paar Sechziger-Jahre bin ich in einem Schlossflügel zur Schule gegangen (Humanistisches Schlossgymnasium Benrath). Die Schule ist nicht mehr. Und unten am Rhein haben wir in kleiner Besetzung (cl, tr, tb, bj) Dixiland gespielt und die Leute haben uns zugehört...hach, waren wir stolz...
